The Contacts tab within each customer record is used to manage all individuals associated with that company.
During initial onboarding, contacts can be imported using BulkSource’s data import tools. Ongoing, users can easily create and update contacts directly from the BulkSource web application or the native iOS app.
For each contact, you can record key details such as name, position, phone number, and email address. Contacts can also be designated as Accounts Payable (A/P) contacts. When a contact is marked as an A/P contact, the system allows invoices to be automatically emailed to that individual and enables users to manually resend invoice emails when needed. Contacts that are not designated as invoice contacts cannot receive invoice-related emails.
Contacts can be marked as Active or Inactive, allowing teams to maintain historical records while ensuring only relevant contacts are used operationally.
You may also designate a Preferred Contact for a customer. The preferred contact is surfaced within the BulkSource iOS app, enabling quick call or text actions without navigating into the full Contacts list.
Once a contact is marked as active, they may be invited to the Customer Portal, which is managed separately.
