Scale Configuration is managed in Company Settings and must be completed before scales can be used for ticketing activity.
Scale configuration requires prerequisite site setup and technical details for each connected scale.

Scale settings can be found in Company Settings at:
https://app.bulksource.com/account/account-settings
Administrators should ensure that sites are created before adding scale hardware.
Site Requirements
A Site must exist before a scale can be assigned:
https://app.bulksource.com/material-sales/sites
Scale configuration cannot be completed until:
At least one Site is created
The scale is associated with a specific Site location
Required Scale Technical Information
The following information is required for each physical scale:
Connection type (COM port or IP-based)
Baud rate
IP address (if applicable)
Credit Card Terminal ID
If a scale location processes credit card transactions, a Terminal ID is required.
This value is provided by the assigned onboarding manager.
Ticket Templates
Here, you can select the ticket template to be used at this scale.
If ticket templates do not appear during the scale setup process:
Contact the onboarding manager to enable the required templates
