Hauler Pay Items

The Hauler Pay Items feature in BulkSource allows you to track and calculate how much is owed to hauling companies based on the deliveries they complete. Rather than manually reviewing individual tickets, BulkSource pulls delivery data directly from your scale tickets and calculates hauler pay automatically based on the agreed-upon rate.

How It Works

Hauler payments in BulkSource are driven by scale ticket data. Every time a delivery is completed and a scale ticket is recorded, BulkSource captures the relevant information needed to determine what a hauler is owed.

The calculation is straightforward:

Haul Rate (per unit of measure)  ×  Net Quantity on Scale Ticket  =  Hauler Pay

Example:  $12.00 per ton  ×  25 tons  =  $300.00 owed to hauler

The unit of measure will depend on the material being hauled. 

Accessing Hauler Pay Items

To view hauler pay items in BulkSource:

1. Navigate to the Hauler Pay Items section in BulkSource.
2. You will see a list of scale tickets that include a delivery fee. These are automatically filtered to show only tickets where a hauler was involved.
3. Each line item shows the hauling company, the material, the quantity, the haul rate, and the total pay amount calculated for that ticket.

What You Can See

The Hauler Pay Items view gives you visibility into the following details for each delivery:

• Hauling company name
• Material and site
• Net quantity (e.g., tons delivered)
• Haul rate (per unit of measure)
• Total calculated hauler pay for that ticket

This gives you a clear, ticket-by-ticket breakdown of what is owed to each hauling company based on actual delivery activity.

Note:  Hauler Pay Items reflects individual scale tickets. A summarized statement that rolls up all tickets into a single payable document per hauling company is a feature currently in development and is not yet available. For now, use the Hauler Pay Items view to review and manage individual ticket-level pay records.
