Data Import Field Requirements
BulkSource import templates require exact field matching, valid references, and controlled value inputs. All required fields must be populated, and referenced records must already exist inside BulkSource. Date, status, and Boolean fields must use the defined formats below.
This reference summarizes the required fields for each import type and the rules that govern their values.
Tickets Import Requirements
Required Columns & Rules

| Status | "Draft", "Posted", "Accepted", "Voided" |
| Order ID | Must match an existing Order |
| Product ID | Must match an existing Product, not necessary if Product Name is filled |
| Product Name | Must match an existing Product, not necessary if Product ID is filled |
| Delivery Method | "Delivery" or "Pickup/Self Haul" |
| Site Name | Must match an existing Site |
| Direction | "Outgoing" or "Incoming" |
| Net Weight | Based on the Tare and Gross Weight |
| Tare Weight | Required numeric value. Must be blank if Quantity is filled. |
| Gross Weight | Required numeric value. Must be blank if Quantity is filled. |
| Quantity | Required numeric value. Must be blank if Weight is filled. |
| Time In | Format: hh:mm am/pm, can be left blank |
| Time Out | Format: hh:mm am/pm, can be left blank |
| Scale Name | Must match an existing Scale |
| Ship To Name | Required text, can be left blank |
| Trucking Company ID | Must match an existing Logistics Provider, not necessary if Trucking Company Name is filled |
| Trucking Company Name | Must match an existing Logistics Provider, not necessary if Trucking Company IDis filled |
| Truck Name | Must match an existing Truck |
| Weigh Master | Must reference a User, can be left blank |
| Freight Zone Table Name | Required only if delivered, can be left blank |
| Zone Name | Required only if delivered, can be left blank |
Operational Expectations
- All referenced objects must exist before import (products, projects, users, sites, scales, price lists, etc.)
- Status fields accept only the values listed
- Boolean-style fields accept only
"Yes"or"No" - Date formats must follow
MM/DD/YYYY - Numeric fields must contain valid numbers where required
- Spelling must match system records exactly
- Additional spaces in the data may cause errors. Use Excel’s TRIM function to remove leading and trailing spaces.
